The "Princess" and The "Pea" - a retelling

The "Princess" and The "Pea"
An upward-scrolling, slightly-alternative retelling
In many versions of the famous story "The Princess and The Pea", two things remains unclear; The first - whether this supposed princess, appearing out of nowhere on a stormy night, is in fact a real princess; The second - how come, as told in various versions of the story, the so-called fragile princess appeared before the prince and queen in the morning after her pea-trial all battered and bruised by what was told to be a single, humble pea.

It is these two anomalies that became the base of this upward-scrolling-format illustrated retelling, mashing Adventure-Time-inspired art over an isometric perspective. Enjoy!
Note: this is an UPWARD-SCROLLING tale! To avoid spoilers (as much as possible), scroll down as fast as possible and then enjoy your slow, sweet climb up this very long image :D
